The exhibit successfully
pulled together my vision for the future of
the work, while showcasing the achievements of the present. The exhibition
included large-scale paintings, drawings, sketches, scrolls and conceptual
photo-collages. With the large store-front style windows, the gallery created
the perfect environment of my intent to make art part of the daily life of
non-gallery goers. With paintings intentionally hanging in the windows --
suggestive of advertising banners -- the show's presence was almost literally
"in the streets," with the results staying true to my manifesto.
